Lorrie Morgan, the daughter of renowned country music artist George Morgan, made her debut at the Grand Ole Opry at the age of 13 and took over her father’s band after he passed away when she was 16, continuing to perform since then.

Throughout her career, Morgan has achieved significant success, charting over 25 singles on the Billboard country charts, including three number-one hits, namely “Five Minutes,” “What Part of No,” and “I Didn’t Know My Own Strength.”

In 1991, she covered the famous George Jones song “A Picture of Me (Without You),” which appeared on her album Something in Red and reached number nine on the charts. Although the song will always be a Jones classic, Morgan added her own touch, resulting in a fan favorite for years to come.

At an appearance on Country’s Family Reunion, Morgan performed the song alongside country legends such as Randy Travis, Ricky Skaggs, and Bill Anderson, showcasing that she has not lost her talent and can still evoke emotions from her audience, just as she did in 1991.
